hair;; bronze eyes;; honey, when not thirsty height;; 6'2" weight;; 160lbs build;; slender and toned overall appearence;; Being a vibrant shade of green at birth and leading up to his childhood ages, he often got complimented on them. Though he doesn't like how eyes betray the being they're attached too. This he didn't really take notice to until his vampire instincts took hold of him. He no longer sports the bright green eyes he once had for a short period of time. No instead now they're a variety of hazel but not stopping at pure black. But his once green eyes allowed for a very bright hazel color when they changed, they now resemble the color of honey. Well that is when he's content. The changing of his eye color from the bright to duller colors are based on the moods the vampire experiences. Annoyed and anger are seen more then the color caused by hunger. They become slightly dull in color. As for a hunger state, they're pure black, resembling coal, but he doesn't come out that often like that until he can feed.
He embraces the vampire he is therefore hasn't any problem with the color of his skin, mind you its never looked any different. He can't tan, and knowing that doesn't even try, seeing as once you stick this boy out in the sun your going to get some weird looks. His skin will sparkle, literally like diamonds. But you won't see that he doesn't like the sun and not just for that reason. What he doesn't like is the constant references to ghosts, though he will admit (secretly) that he does resemble one. The dark purple lines beneath his eyes from lack of sleep are more apparent when he hasn't eaten. Something else he finds quite amusing is the temperature of his skin, though not surprising since he is dead. The temperature is nearly below freezing, and for this simple reason he won't let many people touch him, its not that he doesn't like contact, he just doesn’t want to explain or spook someone.
Edward's hair is something that mimics the look of his honey colored eyes, though not to the full extent. He has a vast amount of thick wavy bronze colored hair. He's one of those males that likes for his appearance to look very presentable. So with this his hair usually has some sort of lightly gelled look to it so that the waves are embraced, its a bit unruly. He doesn't like flat hair, so he gives it the fingered look, giving it some height and a sort of messy look to it. Though he does have his off days where it looks quite horrid, in his opinion, he's often told he's ridiculus then.
For a seventeen year old, he's at the proper height. But as for body built, he comes off a bit more built then boys his age. He didn't want to appear to be scrawny, though what boy does? But his diet of well blood, didn't allow him to pack on the pounds he wanted, so he simply just used whatever body fat he had to build muscle. So while he doesn't look like the toughest guy around, you wouldn't want to mess with him, seeing as he can pick up a car. But he's not going to display that, instead he'll wear appropriate clothing. He is a stylish kind of person. He doesn't like sweats and holey shirts, preferring the polo shirt and a nice pair of jeans or a semi-dressy look and a casual look. This clothing style, though can be quite revealing of the muscle he does have, he buys his clothing so that he can be quite misleading

He fines controling his thirst rather easy but not easy enough to use the degrees he's earned at medical school quite yet. Something he believes helps him with the being a vampire thing is his ability to read minds though it took sometime to get use to since he's not able to tune anyone out and he hears everything all at once. He doesn't take the immortal factor for granted actually using it to his benefit filling his mind with as much knowledge as he can, and since he doesn't have much to do during the night hours thats when he usually does those sort of things. Edward could be quite the thingyy vampire if he still didn't have a set of morals handy to him. Even if he wasn't the quickest vampire of the Cullens and he didn't have his strength his beauty and the lure of his perfectly smelling breath would lure his prey to him with no problems, making him the worlds best predator. But despite knowing this he doesn't let it go to his head, all that much. The one place he shows a thingyy attitude is when he's using the thoughts of others to get what he wants.
Since Edward doesn't feed on humans and along with his family they live among the human race peacefully he needs to fit in without drawing too much attention to him. It was much easier when he was actually a human and since the older he gets the more his human memories fail him. But having been seveteen everywhere they've lived he's been perfecting the role as the high school student though keeping his distance from most humans when he can help it. He finds the human charade more difficult then being a vegetarian vampire. Its during his time as 'acting' human that he tends to lose his patience more along with a bit of his temper. This is just a result to the fact that he has to keep himself in check whenever he's around those that he'd like very much to kill. Though of course he wouldn't allow himself to lose that much control ever again, if he feels he's going to lose control, he'll just skipp school.
Being born in the very early ninteen hundreds and growing up in the years that followed is something that has stuck with him for his one hundred seven years of life. Despite the fact that he has lived through many of the changing centuries, he hasn't really grown out of his old way of life. His morals are still quite the same, everything done by the book from proper introdutions to proper relationships not that he has really had much if any experience in that department. Though he looks a mere seventeen years old, his voice and way of wording can sometimes give him away, though you have to be listening for it sometimes. His still one of those people that articulates more so then the average person. His quick wit is among what you'd call tasteful and he's got a pretty good sense of humor.

parents;; Edward Masen, Elizabeth Masen Adoptive: Carlisle Cullen Esme Cullen siblings;; Alice Emmett Rosalie Jasper other family;; none really your history;; Chicago, Illinois June 20, 1901 marks the birthday of Edward Anthony Masen. Being named after his father, he was born into a family that was what would be considered well off in that time since his father was a sucessful laywer. He spent most of his childhood days playing with the other children in the neighbourhood being your typical male child, coming home most days from playing with bruises and scraps. Basically his childhood wasn't much for story telling. But as he grew older the thought of war breaking out over seas was worrying every mothing in the country even Edward's own mother Elizabeth. When the war finally happened and more men were needed they lowered the draft age to a mere eighteen and after turning only seventeen in 1918 Edward was only a year away from combat. With this news his mother was a bit more protective of him, not allowing him to go to far while his father thought it to be an honor.
But just shortly after his seventeenth birthday, the entire Masen family was hit with worse news. The influenza epidemic made its way to the states and hit all three members of the family. First off it wasn't something that Edward thought would be too bad, medical practices seemed to have been moving forward but seeing the effects that it had on his parents, having struck them first Edward had little hope for his own survival. For the first couple of weeks, though extremely week, after being hit he refused to get attention from the very adament doctor on duty trying to see that his parents were being rightfully looked after. But not being able to withstand the forces of the doctors he was placed in a bed as he too looked like he wouldn't survive. But at the death of his father, and his mothers coming quick he saw his mother talking to the doctor known as Cullen. But not sure what had gone on between the two of them, he knew that his mother didn't make it any longer then a couple of hours. After that, one evening when no other doctors happened to be around, let alone everyone else, Dr. Cullen took Edward to his flat and saved his life, though not exactly the way most would have thought possible.
That night had actually ended Edward Anthony Masen's life, for he no longer has a pulse. Dr. Carlisle Cullen had been made to promise to save Edward by his mother since she knew that he coud do it in some way, which was true, but neither til this day know how. Carlisle had bitten Edward that September night and turned him into a vampire. He remembers it being a very painful process, feeling like he was on fire, but he remembers Carlisle talking him through it constantly at his side. After his transformation he no longer got hungry, or wanted to eat food instead he yearn for the taste of blood and it nearly drove him insane. But before he could run off and make his first kill Carlisle had other plans for him. He explained everything that Edward needed to know, the rules for not exposing himself to a third party, how going outside in the sun would make him 'sparkle' and of the Volturi that enforced all the rules. But Carlisle's number one rule was that Edward was not to feed off of humans. He was taught to hunt animals, being skillful at being told he was like a mountain lion at times, though it took years before he could withstand the smell of human blood. Despite his progress he was only able to mingle with the humans, he couldn't be around them when they were cut.
Between the time he was turned and when the newest member would be added, Edward played the part of Edward Cullen, son to Carlisle or his much younger brother. He wasn't sore at the fact that he had been turned into a so called monster. BUt he felt that the feeding off of animals redeemed him, though he did accidently take a couple of human lives. Edward stuck with Carlisle as they travelled, talking to one another getting to know each other. During this time Edward found out he was able to read the minds of those around him, but more in the fashion that he heard them and couldn't stop it from happening. It could be a bit maddening at times but he got over and started to use it to his advantage. His being changed had ended his time in Chicago and he moved with Carlisle to Wisconsin where he'd met Esme for the first time, though knew the situation between her and Carlisle. He welcomed Esme after her change and soon took the role as her younger brother when her and Carlisle were married.
But being the teenager that he was Edward couldn't just make living with his newly found 'parents' an easy thing for them. In 1927, he felt that he had the right to live the way he wanted to and rebeled against Esme and Carlisle and went his own way. In this time he felt that he could do the world a favor. Edward planned on useing his gift to only kill the criminals o the world. This had been a pretty good plan in the beginning but the longer that Edward killed the more human lives he had on his hands and he couldn't deal with that even though he was a vampire. So in 1931 he returned to Carlisle and Esme apologizing profusly but they welcomed him with open arms. A couple of years later Carlisle brought another member intot he family which Edward learned was to be his companion. He wasn't too keen on this addition, and didn't keep that hidden, but him and Rosalie didn't become anything other then brother and sister. The rest of the additions to the family, Emmett, Alice and Jasper were welcomed by Edward just as much as the others. He got on great with them all, but seemed to be the closes with Emmett as if they were really siblings.
Edward didn't feel the need to venture on his own again and no longer tasted human blood, not feeling it necessary. Shortly after his return in 1936 it was Edward's first trip to forks and his first run in with werewolves, or people with the ability to shift into them. It was more of an encounter to establish rules and boundaries then a run in. Edward had no problems with this not wanting any sort of conflict to break out and generally enjoyed his life in forks until the family could no longer stay there. It was a constant changing of address and towns of the Cullens but Edward enjoyed the travelling aspect and was glad to have the feeling of belonging. A great deal of their absence from Forks was spent in Alaska when the Cullens met up with another group of vegetarian vampires. A couple of the female vampires, including the family head Tanya, seemed to take a liking towards Edward but he just like the early time of his life wasn't really interested in anything relationship wise which sometimes baffled those he lived with. Having enjoyed Forks the family returned around the twenty first century to find that things were similar and had to stay in line with their treaty made in the thirties. Edward and his siblings enrolled in the local high school though he had already been through Medical school twice making him able to practice medicine but since he doesn't trust himself, he hasn't even thought of it.
But Only a year after dating, a mishap at her birthday party made Edward do a stupid mistake, something he hasn't forgiven himself for; he left thinking it would be better for her. While he was away he was very moppy and thought of her constantly but thought she was happy. He tried his hand at tracking but wasn't that good at it, not well enought to call himself a tracker anyway. Only a good four or five months into his absence he got wind, from Rosalie that Bella was dead, not true information though. Calling her house and getting Jacob and more wrong information Edward set off to kill himself, at the hands of the Volturi. But Bella and Alice's quick thinking saved him and he returned along with his family to Forks, where he and Bella continued their relationship from where they left off. Though he has to share his time with her with Jacob who he isn't fond of.

read the rules;; edited by admin rp sample;; It was rather quiet in the three storey house for the sunny morning, but Edward didn't fill his mind with concerns about the quietness. There were multiple explanations for this, hunting being the one that lurked closely to as the reasoning for him being the one in the house. Before recent sunny days had given Edward a grateful excuse to miss out on the mundane school charade he pretended to be a part of since he'd entered Forks, but those days were rare so he wasn't spared the lack of interaction with humans that offten. Not that the students at Forks came that close to him and his siblings, which was smart moves on their behalf. But now Edward dreaded the rare sunny days that seemed to loom longer then they usually did, but then again he was probably over thinking again. This was only because these sunny days separated him from the brunette that was the centre of most of his thoughts lately, basically his obession since he came to terms with himself and fought against killing her nearly each day but it was getting increasingly easier through his precautions. Sure his behaviour wasn't exactly accepted half of the vampires that inhabited the victorian house. Though it was hard to escape their thoughts, which he tried to do just out of common curteosy for his family, he tried not to think about what they were thinking about concerning this matter.
Growing tired of the backyard seen that he was looking at from his place at the window, Edward heaved a sign and detatched his shoulder from the frame to the sliding door and stood up straight with not effort. He'd lost track at how long he'd been watching the sun rise up over the tree tops, but when days ran into nights and nights into days he hardly gave time a thought any longer. He turned his back on the nature seen and was faced with the unused kitchen scene. Though they didn't entertain much, unless other vampires they had to keep up the act just incase. Even if the house was almost impossible to find what with the hidden drive way until it was almost too late. His honey colored eyes scanned the rooms that he could see while a hand tossled his bronze hair as he tried to find something that would hold attention long enough to pass most of the day. Leaning softly on the kitchen counter, Edward brought a check list up in his mind and started checking off ildeas, the television was first to go, he wasn't really a big fan of the square box and a number of other things follwed as his eyes continued to scan. The Piano. He didn't know why he hadn't thought of it sooner though it wasn't surprising. He'd been neglecting his playing lately, well in the last few years. Darting over to the black grand piano, one of his favourite posessions next to his cars his eyes softened as he took a seat on the patted seat.
His pale fingers hovered momentarily over the keys, like this was his first time sitting here, not knowing where to start. He made a slient promise to himself to never neglect his playing again, it didn't do anyone any good. Running his finger tips lightly over all the keys as if apologizing for being absent so long he started playing simple classical piece that was burned into his memory. That didn't last long he was soon engulfed by the sound that he just let himself play without any thought, letting his mind wander with the tune. He wasn't sure where the new sound was coming from, surely he'd figure it out in time. Right now it didn't matter, just hearing it played out was all Edward was concerned with at this time. Shortly after his fingers stopped and the sound echoed to an end, causing him to drop his head as if to see what the problem was, the piece wasn't finished and that confused him slightly. Usually his pieces were finished when he sat down and played them out. Determind to see if it was just a misplacement of his fingers, which he doubted, he started over from the beginning, working in some hand manuvers that should have needed two people. He heard someone enter the house which would give it a less empty feeling, but too focused on the music he didn't focus in on the thoughts to find out who would be joining him shortly.
