TEAM SWITZERLAND SPEAKS OUT
AGAINST RECASTING JACOB BLACK IN NEW MOON

Over the last few weeks we have been hearing rumors about Taylor Lautner not being brought back to New Moon, Summit and other sources are reporting because he is not "buff" enough to portray an older Jacob who supposedly is to look 26 years old based on S.M.'s books.

Stephanie Meyer on her own website invisioned Jacob looking like Steven Strait, but Taylor was cast in Twilight. I personally think Taylor did a great job and do see it possible to bring him back in New Moon if they had a larger budget.

However the conditions are thus, the budget is small, possibly smaller than Twilight's budget, and a new director to boot. Summit wants to rush the production of the film to have it out by November 2009, they will start filming in March. That is not alot of time.

I am a Professional Web and Graphic Designer who has much knowledge on how long it takes to digitally edit something to make it look correct. If they firstly, rush the filming on a small budget there is no way they will be able to "Buff" him up fast enough to have the movie out by November 2009.

Secondly, if they insist on sticking to a small budget, and Taylor can only bulk up so fast [he is making great progress], however he may not be big enough in time for shooting. He is only sixteen, and my fear is even with all the 'buff' that he has, he will still not fit the description of a twenty six year year old looking werewolf. For young Jacob, he was wonderful, and I strongly applaud everyone voting for Taylor, my heart is with the guy as well.

MY FEAR, is Michael Copon. The self proclaimed "older Jacob Black". He is in the running for replacing Taylor, and honestly, I think he is arrogant and would be more suited to Paul, based on his own personality and the way he has handled the situation. He repeatedly bashes Taylor in an interview and shows no respect to what Taylor has accomplished with Jacob thus far. I am FULL AGAINST MICHAEL COPON PLAYING JACOB BLACK!

As mentioned earlier, Steven Strait is who Stephanie invisioned the elder Jacob resembling, therefore I say, along with many others, that perhaps Steven should give it a try if they are sticking to a small budget and see no need to keep Taylor.

With me, or against me on replacing Taylor with Steven, please do not let the idiot Michael Copon ruin Jacob Black. Team Edward, I know where you are coming from, I honestly WAS one of you for a long time, but over the past few months I have become Switzerland and see no need to have Jacob ruined. Team Edward, keep in mind, this is the MAN WHO WILL ONE DAY MARRY RENESMEE CULLEN! You have just as much say in the matter as Team Jacob and Swizerland. Make your voice heard.
