Seattle has been plagued by a series of unexplained murders. Tension in forks is rising, but Bella Swan has more problems to worry about. Not only having the revengeful vampire Victoria after her blood but choosing her love for vampire Edward Cullen, and her devoted, loving friendship, with werewolf Jacob Black.

MATH! boring. Why couldn't they learn anything fun in this school, come on there only so much you can take before you get bored. Well Alice had already learn't algebra about ten times. she knew it like that back of her hand. There was nothing she couldn't do, but seen as they all wanted to stay in Forks for as long as possible she had to pretend she didn't know all this stuff. It wasn't even complicated. At least she only had fifteen more minutes of this left. According to her watch, an expensive Rolex Jasper had bought her for her previous birthday. she sighed, looking over at Erik, who seemed to be concentrating as much as possible on the lesion. She smiled, he was always tried his best in everything though he still seemed to be a little slow at math.
Ten minutes! It was just a typical day for Alice, school, home, hunt and the repeat it all the next day. It did get boring and she hadn't be shopping in over three days! there was seriously something wrong. Then her mind shot back, back to when they were in Italy. The Yellow Porsche. Christmas just seemed so far away now, why couldn't she just get Edward to buy her it now. It was an amazing car, ever since she had seen and drove the Porch she hadn't wanted her car any more, though it was a nice make and relatively fast thing to drive but she didn't want it. It was a crap car. In her own mind now.
The bell rang, obviously she had been in her own little world for longer than had been intended. Yes! she as always was one of the first to leave the class, heading towards the canteen area. She was again, some of the first people there. She grabbed her normal coke some fruit and walked back towards there table. No one was there yet, which sucked. Hurry up people. Not even Edward was here yet, but he'd probably be with Bella now, or waiting for Bella to make her way to the canteen. She sighed plopping down on the seat waiting to be joined by someone.

Edward was never a fan of class when he had to repeat them for the fifteenth time in the same grade level every time they moved. Though it was necessary, school was probably the most horrible part for Edward to endure. It wasn’t that he had a hard time pretending to be seventeen and learning the stuff for the first time, he’d been doing that so long it felt like it was second nature. It was the fact that he had to endure the petty thoughts of all those that he shared the corridors with each day. They all thought the same, he often lumped all the humans together, minus Bella. She was one, if not the only reason why school didn’t seem so hard to bear any more, well at least when he was with her.
English was his most boring class that he had to sit through, not because he didn’t like the class or the material. It was the fact that he’d already read the books, poems and plays at least once before and depending on the time the book was published he may have read it when it was first published. But he played along, wrote the notes in his out of date writing and answer questions as much like his classmates as he could. Though today it seemed even more unbearable to be sitting her going over Hamlet for what seemed like the millionth time for Edward, it barely held his attention knowing the answers to the questions before they were answered. Deciding he needed something to keep his mind busy he sifted through the minds of those around him, usually something he doesn’t do.
This task took his mind off the class nicely as he heard the bell echo throughout the school; he had to remind himself to walk out like everyone else instead of bolting for the door. Though even then he was one of the first out the door and on his way to the canteen, a monotonous routine he shared with his siblings. After getting some food he wouldn’t eat he looked around seeing it wasn’t even close to filled with students, though his eyes found Alice and made his way over towards her taking a seat in his seat. "Afternoon Alice" Edward said glad that he didn’t have to suffer through the math class she just had.

Her eyes scanned the room, she could easily find out who would turn up first. What was the point in that, it was annoying sometime shaving the gift she did. She could find things out so easily. Though it did come in handy sometimes, like when something drastic was going to happen she could fins out easily and quickly which was a bonus. Though she grinned as she watched Edward walked across the room, getting something to eat. Though he didn't need it. Alice never ate anything she bought here, she normally just put it in the bin really quickly not wanting to even look at it. It was like a human eating, mud. Disgusting, she didn't know how Edward could eat it sometimes, she was practically in awe of him when it came to human food. She looked at the fruit, apple's urgh! as a shiver ran down her spine. She sighed.
She watched Edward sit down opposite her. She grinned at him, though she did wonder were Bella was. Which was weird she was normally with him all the time. Oh well, they weren't joint at the hip! he did have a life with out her just not a very good one. She tilted her head to the side, trying to figure out what was happening. Or were Bella was, she seemed to want to be around Edward twenty four seven, all the time never letting him out of her site. Much like how she felt for Jasper, though she knew he would be ok on his won for a day or two. Just Bella wasn't trusted to be on her own for more than five minutes, as no doubt some un-natural disaster would happen around her.
"EDWARD" she exclaimed. She had to admit she was happy to see her brother. He owed her a Porch for god sake, she wanted that more than anything else at the moment. A new car, just she had to wait till Christmas. Which was now months away. She had to come up with some way of gaining this car sooner, or just bringing it forward a month or two. "Were’s Bella?" she asked, though she knew he would have heard.

Edward no longer differentiated between the buzz that he heard in his mind or the one that came from the student body, neither one really interested him any longer, the novelty wore off in the middle of the last century. Of course he listened absentmindedly so that he could see if anyone of the humans were catching on to his family and their act. That was the main reason why he listened, and sometime for his own personal gain. It was much easier to locate Bella through the thoughts of others instead of relying on his other senses. He walked towards Alice at the annoying speed of a human taking him a little while to cross the room, well a little while in his mind. One corner of his lips rose upward at Alice’s thoughts about how he could manage the human food. It wasn’t an easy task and he only did it when he thought it was necessary. It was horrible trying to get rid of it later.
Alice’s mind was a lot nicer to listen too, it worked better then that of a human, just like the rest of his family. It wasn’t something he did often, listen to his family thoughts, when he could help it at least, though he and Alice tended to use their gifts more so with one another, sticking together. He caught her thoughts revolve around Bella for a couple of seconds on her where abouts and how the two never seemed to be separated as of late. It was rather odd for him at the moment, but he was getting use to it. When he had to at least.
He chuckled at her enthusiasm to see him, "Rough day in math?" He asked though he already knew the answer, he did enjoy a good normal conversation. He shook his head slightly at her hast to receive the car he promised for helping save his life, for lack of a better word. "She had to work on a project with Jessica today. Though I doubt much work is getting accomplished." Edward said looking around the café quickly. "Is it just the two of us today?" He asked turning back to Alice.

MATH! again why'd he have to bring it up. It was boring, it wasn't as if she didn't know what the teacher was talking about and that’s why she lost interest. But she'd done it some many times. It just got annoying. "Tough? it's worse than tough... its dreadful" she said in her normal wind chime voice. High pitched yet full of energy. Something that she always had plenty of. she spent nearly all her time, bouncing of the walls literally. It was just her natural persona something she couldn't stop even if she wanted too, she was just always so happy? if that was the right word to describe her. At least with Edward she could have a normal, conversation, with -if she was aorund the boys at the school- them going all googly eyed and swooning over her -or is she was with the family- some major disaster coming up in the conversation.
Jessica, poor Bella. All Jessica wanted to do was gossip all the time. It was unreal. Not even she Alice, the person who never shuts up, could gossip as much as Jessica could. Though it did amuse Alice, Jessica had the most obvious crush on Edward but he seemed to be oblivious to it."Nasty, eeeekkk! Jessica... gees she never shuts up... i mean she's more talkative than me... but the most random mood swings..." as pretty much everyone had been victim to one of her mood swings, only the Cullen family had missed them. As apparently they were all intimidating something that Alice trued to avoid been but knew she could get a little over the top occasionally. Which to human would be scary, but natural to every one else that had known her for more than fifty years. "You've just been in English right?" she spoke.
She looked around again hearing what Edward said. He was right, when Bella wasn't here none of the rest of there 'friends' seemed to want to sit with them. "I guess so..." she paused for a second "We're just sooo scary" she laughed, in her high pitched girlish laugh. which she seemed to use more and more these days. She was shocked that no one had ever really said anything to her about it. "Edward" she said, trying to look cute and innocent "You know when we went too Italy? and i stole the porch... well i was wondering... can i have it sooner?" she slipped the last few words out quickly and they would have been inaudible to any humans ears that may have been listening. though she doubted anyone was that interested in them.

Edward smiled at himself as the thoughts from earlier flooded his sisters head when he mentioned math. It wasn’t his favourite class, he was more into English and Biology if he had to pick, but that was because he had spent most of his nights reading his classic books and Carlisle’s medical books. It passed the time nicely when he couldn’t sleep. "Dreadful might not even be the best word to describe it." He said with a slight sigh to show the boredom in the class. Out of all his siblings he tended to be the one that looked the least energetic or friendly one at times. Well at least to outsiders that how he appeared, but with his family, and Bella he had a one eighty turn around. Defiantly more relaxed and away from the thoughts of the humans that could sometimes sullen his moods.
He felt bad when Bella had to listen to everything Jessica had to say, especially when Jessica’s thoughts weren’t always the nicest about Bella. "I’m not oblivious to it, I just feel its better if I ignore it and not get her hopes up." Edward said commenting on one of Alice’s thoughts that she didn’t give words to. He’d been aware of Jessica’s crush since he arrived at school and sadly had to witness her fantasies which bothered him a bit. "Until I met her I didn’t think anyone could talk as much as you. Though her mood swings are something else." He teased slightly, glad that he wasn’t subjected to Jessica’s ramblings, though that was only because she could articulate when he was around. "Yes, had to suffer through yet another Hamlet lecture. I’m not sure I can take much more." He said with a slight eye roll hoping that next time they moved a different play would be selected.
It amused Edward that only when Bella was around would the other students sit with the two of them. Though Alice’s words made him laugh outwardly catching him a bit off guard. ”Apparently so, though I don’t see where they think sitting with us when Bella is around or not would make a difference” He said a smile still lingering from his laugh. Ignoring his food he leaned forward on the table as she spoke his name figuring she’d bring up the porche sooner or later and he was wondering how long he could deny her. ”Your going to hound me until I give it to you in a couple months time aren’t you?” he said shaking his head just a little bit, ”I’m not going to give it too you early but I don’t see what harm allowing you to give it a test drive or two. Will that calm you a bit?”

School had to be the most boring part of being a vampire for Alice. Doing the same thing over and over again, repeating things, with nothing new ever been chucked into her corse. Did get boring. "Its just.. so boring... you've got to understand, you've been doing this longer than i have... its just boring" she stated as if this solved the whole matter. That school was boring and no matter what anyone said, she was right and they were wrong. She sighed, before running her hand into her hair. And messing it out a little, so it flicked out even more at the bottom. She rested her hand back on her lap, before looking back at Edward.
Her eyes shot wide for a second, forgetting that Edward could read her thoughts. Typical when ever she wasn't expecting it, he answered her thoughts. Not that she cared. It kept her on her toe's, she had to be careful about what she thought around Edward. "She probably already thinks you like her, as you haven’t completely blanked her out of you life..." Alice laughed at that. Typical school girls, thinking everyone was crushing on them, and taking every single peace of body language the wrong way. "But Edward i don't talk all that much, i just ramble loads" she snickered at him. She did talk allot, but she would only talk loads on un-important things, when it came to things that were life threatening dangerous she would always cut things short and straight to the point. "I thought you like Hamlet though?" she asked puzzled. Hamlet was interesting to Edward? at least she thought it was, Alice on the other hand, was more interested in shopping and fashion magazines than plays. Though she was partial to a play or two.
She snickered. Bella was a weird character, everyone felt apparently more at ease around them when there was some other student with them, no one ever had the guts to just come and talk to them normally. "Its more you though, i'm not intimidating really" she smiled up at him, though people did often give them funny looks as they passed it didn't bother Alice though. It was just silly little immature students that really didn't have a clue what was going on really. "YES, you know it the only thing i really want now..." she stopped before she said anything else. she didn't want to loose her chance's of getting it early. "And i know i'll get a test drive soon" she continued before again stopping herself carrying on her words. She watched as he shook his head, she didn't see what the point was in trying to deny her it. She always got what she wanted sooner or later, it was inevitable. "BUT THATS STILL NOT FAIR" she complained. A test drive as much as she was happy with that, she wanted the car. For herself. "Why can't i have it tonight?" she asked, with a moody face quickly replacing her normal cheerful one.

Edward had to agree with Alice, school was boring, well beyond boring he just hadn’t been able to think of a better word to describe yet, hell had seemed to strong. Though before he’d met Bella, he was seriously thinking of trying to find a way to sleep during this time of day so he could miss it. ”Oh I understand, I kind of miss helping Carlisle at times. It took less out of me then this.
Edward said, helping Carlisle was an alternative to staying in the ‘house’ all day though only when he had shown some resistance. He moved one of his hands to wrap around the bottled water he wasn’t going to drink. But it made him appear human and in school that was the main thing in school, at home he didn’t bother, much easier.
Edward almost laughed at her reaction but since no one would understand the reasoning nor would he be able to explain it he just smiled at her. Rarely could he catch her off guard like the others but he was amused when he did. He rolled his eyes at her comment, though he knew that she was right to an extent, he wasn’t as absent as he’d like to be from Jessica’s mind. ”I only talk to the girl for Bella’s sake. I wouldn’t want Jessica to think I was a rude boyfriend and then spill those thoughts to Bella” Edward said with a chuckle, Jessica wasn’t really his favourite of Bella’s friend, only in third place because Mike was bumped back when Jacob came into the picture. ”There’s a difference?” He said raising an eyebrow at his sister as he teased her. He was the opposite of Alice, he preferred to talk more about the more important dangerous stuff and get to the point with un-important things. ”Oh I do, I just like it better when the class grasps it more and the explanations don’t take away from the play’s context.” He said shaking his head, this English class was one of the dimmest ones he’s ever had to sit through.
Edward formed a shocked expression on his face with a bit of work having not needed one for a long while as her thoughts moved through her mind and past her lips, I’m the more intimidating one? he said though he knew she was right, but he’d lost a bit of his edge since Bella came into the picture. Okay, I’ll give you that one, but you come off much stronger then me. He said the mock shock gone from his face as he returned her smile. He had anticipated this talk over the car sooner then now, and though he usually gave into Alice he was going to see how long he could hold out on her. ”I know, but won’t you appreciate it more in a couple of months time?” Edward asked her removing his hand from the water bottle after he was sure the temperature of the water was much colder now. ”Tonight?” He said raising an eyebrow at her, she wasn’t wasting any time this time. ”Because if I give it to you tonight, or before I planned on, how am I suppose to top a Porche when Christmas does actually come around? He asked her noting the change of her facial expression. He could tell if he didn’t give in she was not going to let this drop.

Alice, could live with out helping Carlisle all the time. She could handle the fact she wasn't completely, non attracted to human blood. So she would just avoid the prospect of hospitals, or anything that could involve allot of blood for the time being. "Your, just better than me... well better at being around humans... you know..." she sighed. Looking at the table, Edward and Alice were sitting at. She ran her fingers, slowly but precisely across the cold surface, well what would have been cold to any human. For Alice it was sort of warm? maybe. That probably wasn't the word to describe it, but it felt just over average temperature for a vampire at least. She sighed, before returning her hand back onto her lap. She really had no interest in the fruit that sat in front of her. She didn't even want to touch it; which, yes was pretty shallow of her.
"Everyone knows your not rude... You just give the impression of ignorance" she snickered at him. Yes rudeness and ignorance, there wasn't much different between the two. But hell what did she care. She bounced up and down in her seat. As if she was an excited child. "Bella wouldn't care if you ignored her, she'd still love you... I'd have thought you would have learned that by now" she snickered. There was nothing, nothing, that could beat the love Bella held for Edward and vice versa. She craved him, like the air she breathed. She had to have Edward, or she would literally die. Or her life would basically just close in on itself, which still wasn't any better. "YES, there s a difference... Rambling is when i talk about nothing but say a hell a of allot about it nothing... and talking is when I'm trying to something important... and saying allot in a few words yes? got it now?" she snickered at him again. He was so stupid when it came to the Way Alice thought. Rambling and Talking? yes there was a big difference. Well there was to Alice at least. PFFFFTTT! English. Yes it was interesting but really, there wasn't that much to say about it. Well not in Alice's opinion. She nodded her head in acknowledgment that she had heard and listened to what Edward had said.
She laughed, in her normal, high pitched, wind chime noise. "Your more scary than ME" she exclaimed pointing at herself with her hand. It wasn't exactly true, Alice could scare a number of people if she wanted too, but on a normal day she would just be friendly to everyone she could. "How exactly do i come of more stronger than you?" she said, with a mock pout crossing her face. Before returning her happy cheery one again, something she couldn't help but do. "NO. I WON'T" she said, raising her voice more. But it still wasn't a shout that the people around her could hear. It was more just a normal talking voice, but still loud. "TONIGHT,, PLEASE EDWARD" she let a air of begging fill her voice. She really did want the car now! or as quickly as possible, but she didn't want to just drive it around and then give it back to Edward. That would be like torture. "I'll call you Eddie, if i can't have it soon." she laughed. Eddie, how annoying would that be if all you had was an annoying pixie like creature going round calling you Eddie.
"Christmas? you could buy me a whole knew wardrobe... well obviously don't pick the clothes yourself... i mean you have no fashion sense, but you could get me a load of new clothes." She laughed. Edward could never pick clotehs she liked. Everyone knew that.

Edward’s involvement in helping Carlisle didn’t last long and only involved cases where open wounds weren’t present. Edward refused to go near open wounds on people, he never trusted himself, no matter how long he’d been with his family. Only recently did he test his luck. Carlisle always had more faith in people then anyone else but also knew their boundaries. “I am now. I’ve had my far shares of slip ups, conscious ones. I just can’t afford them now.”
Edward said giving his own little sigh. His ‘vigilante’ days weren’t often something he brought up, his theory didn’t work as well as he thought it would. Their vegetarian lifestyle wasn’t easy to stick too. Edward picked up a piece of food on his plate, and looked at it as if he was about to eat it but the apple wasn’t about to get that close to his lips. he replaced it to his tray as if he’d decided against the red fruit
Edward shook his head and rolled his eyes, “Ah ignorance, well at least I’m not rude” he said with a smile as she snickered. Edward didn’t really pay much attention to what other’s opinions of him were. It didn’t matter if they weren’t his family or Bella. “True, but it makes things easier for Bella. Not to mention I prefer to keep my presence out of Jessica’s thoughts. Being nice usually helps that.” Edward said, being the center of Jessica’s thoughts was never a place he liked himself to be in. Edward couldn’t help but smile at Alice’s thoughts about his and Bella’s relationship they truly did love one another more then most people could ever dream of. Her thoughts of Bella’s life closing in on itself brought back a reminder of last years events causing him to flinch slightly. It was a small move in his posture, something only Alice would notice. “Ah that clears it up perfectly. Now I know when and when not to pay attention to you.” Edward said with a chuckle. Though he had a feeling that it would be much more difficult to ignore Alice then it was for you to ignore everyone else. She had that sort of personality, one that didn’t easily go unnoticed that often. School subjects have lost their appeal the forth time around. Though, at this point Edward lost track at the amount of times he’s repeated eleventh grade English.
Edward thought about that, “Despite the intent, I’m going to take that as a compliment.” Edward exclaimed with a bit of a smug expression on his face. He was a vampire he was suppose to be scary to an extent at least. Alice was much more friendlier then he’d ever be. “Are you forgetting your first encounter with us? I’d say moving into my room when I wasn’t home and knowing everyone by name is you coming off stronger then me. It’s simply your bubbly personality.” Edward said remembering coming home to his stuff in the garage and Alice and Jasper moved into his room. Not that it bothered him. Edward gave a sigh, he knew he wouldn’t win the argument, nor did he plan on winning. But he was going to attempt to push off giving her the car as long as he could. But then he heard her uttered the word Eddie, a dreaded variation of his name. “This weekend.” He said knowing that his effort to stop any nickname for himself would be ruined the moment Emmett heard her, he wouldn’t let him live it down. “That way you’ll have time to take it out for a long weekend drive and really see how it drives.” he said. If the two of them wouldn’t have been in the lunch room, he may have playfully hissed at the nick name.
“The new wardrobe would cost more then the Porsche, I might as well just buy you two.” Edward said before scoffing at her “There’s nothing wrong with my fashion sense. Besides, you usually dictate the clothing choices anyway.” though of course he knew he had no idea what sort of clothing she’d like.

"Ignorance is bliss" she laughed,, in her trill voice. Edward had no idea,, what people thought of him or how he came across to people. It sometimes did manage to make Alice laugh at how oblivious he was. "Jessica will never get over the fact that your not interested in her and well you like Bella instead,, have you seen the way she looks at you when your around Bella" Alice new it really was nothing out of the ordinary,, but Jessica really was a hard nut to crack when it came to guys,, though she wished Jessica would just be happy with the guy she had. As he thought the world of her. That much was obvious. Alice did notice the move he made,, it wasn't something obvious though it looked like he was in pain only for a second. But she couldn't mistake that for anything else but pain. "EDWARD CULLEN" she said in her high pitched voice,, "OUCH,, you will never and i MEAN never ignore me if you know what's good for you" she laughed,, she could never make Edward's life difficult unless she actually really had too do it. If people -especially Jasper- were in danger,, then she would make everyone's life a living hell till something was sorted out.
"You really are something else Edward" she sighed,, she knew she would never be as cold toward people as Edward was. She just couldn't it wasn't in her personality,, she loved being around people,, well vampires especially,, but some humans -though she didn't mix well with them- she liked. Though would avoid if she could,, for Jasper's sake. "How could i forget that,, you face! it was so... well so unlike you" she exclaimed as she reenacted the goings on in her head. She still didn't see it,, she didn't come of stronger than Edward. Yes,, she had the visions,, and the 'sight' as people called it. But really,, Edward had everything going for him. He'd even had an open invitation to join the Volturri. That in Alice's opinion was coming of stronger than her. "But really Edward,, your room need a move around of furniture i mean,, you couch,, well i didn't like that,, hence why i moved it into the garage,, and the CD's,, you could at least have them some were else in stead of them all taking up so much space,, so they got put there as well,, and everything else,, well all i can say is you have practically no sense in fashion or decoration at ALL!" she exclaimed. She knew it much have been pretty weird though for Edward and the rest of the family to come home and find that everything had been moved around. Re-decorating that is and always would be the the key to Alice's world!.
"AWWWWW,, come on Edward,, you know you can do better than that,, can't i have it today?" Alice closed her eyes,, looking forward into what could be the future the way things were going at the moment,, she sighed,, no it wouldn't be today. As she shuffled in her seat. It would be soon though,, a present for something,, though she couldn't see what it was. Something to do with Bella though,, obviously. She sighed. "Well you could buy me two then" she laughed. Though she would obviously no doubt have to take allot of the cloths back -if Edward bought them that was- if he didn't though,, and let someone like Rose help him,, though there was almost no chance of that happening.
"Well,, if i can't have the car tonight,, i want to see it tonight!" and that really was her the last decision she'd make about the car. All she wanted to do was drive it around some were,, any were even. She didn't care as long as she got to drive it soon. she was bored with her car at the moment,, she knew the Porsche would be able to go faster than the car she had at the moment.
